The art of writing. The company, established in 1988, now employs 100 people who work every day to invent, create and produce the pens that are sold and collected as works of art in over fifty countries throughout the world. The shop in Via Porta Rossa, besides selling the writing, leather goods and cabinet collections, has a space devoted to the testing of Visconti pens and inks and to the precious paper made by Cartiera Magnani, a Tuscan paper factory of long-standing (since the 1400s) that is known for having made the paper used by Napoleon.
