La Via del Tè is the store and tea room of the Florentine company by the same name. Established in 1961, it is the brain child of Alfredo Carrai, a true pioneer in the introduction of quality tea culture to Italy. Over 250 types can be found here, whole tea leaves of mono-origin (from China, India, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Japan, and Africa), fragrant blends, and fruit and other infusions are all available for purchase as well as for tasting while munching on sweet and savory specialties. You will also find shaken cold teas and ceremonial teas, such as Indian Chai, Moroccan tea or Japanese new tea.
