The history of the restaurant Il Latini is intertwined with the history of the city, with the story of Maria, Narciso's wife, who cooked the food that her husband transported to the laid tables set up in the cellars of Palazzo Rucellai. The Florence flood did not spare the fiaschetteria, which however continued to serve hot dishes to the Florentines in the streets still full of mud. Today, as then, at Il Latini we eat ribollita and pappa al pomodoro, arista and wild boar. Here you can savor the raw material of this wonderful land that is Tuscany, while capturing a bit of its soul.
