Giardino del Bobolino
- Via del Bobolino
Located just beyond Porta Romana is a small-scale version of the immense Boboli gardens.
It extends over a slope and consists of lush meadows, stairways, gravel-covered clearings, flower beds, fountains and artificial grottoes. It is home to the famous Villa Cora, where the empress consort of the French, Eugénie de Montijo, and the Russian composer Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky stayed.
A few city greenhouses are located next to the park.
