This shop, established back in 1892, is run by a pair of lovely elderly sisters who keep the business going out of sheer passion and pleasure. It sells pulses (grains and dried legumes), among which are Sorana beans, chick-peas, couscous (even the spicy Tunisian variety), a special rice variety called burger, dried peas, grass peas, Garfagnana emmer, pistachio nuts, sunflower seeds, white lupins, Casentino mushrooms, and a rice blend (wholemeal, black and red) prepared by the shop owners.
