Riccardo Bacarelli’s grandfather, Rizieri, started the antiques trade business in 1923. The historic gallery - which grew into a successful business under the direction of Benvenuto, Rizieri’s son - has been taking part in Florence’s Antiques Biennale since 1961 and is now run by Riccardo Bacarelli, who has taken the business to the international level. The gallery offers a wide selection of furniture, objects, sculptures and paintings from the Haute Epoque to the early 1800s. Riccardo Bacarelli specializes in Italian painting and sculpture from the Renaissance age to the late eighteenth century.
