Alessandro Romano Antichità

Alessandro Romano Antichità

A third-generation antique dealer, Alessandro Romano has taken after his grandfather, Salvatore Romano, a major art collector and patron of the arts, who donated to the city of Florence a French collection of medieval and Renaissance sculptures, which are now kept in the Cenacle of the Church of Santo Spirito. Just like his father Francesco, Alessandro started his career very early in 1969. Passionately fond of sculptures, as per family tradition, Romano offers also paintings, drawings, furniture and other art objects, from the 16th to the 19th centuries, mostly of Italian origin, at his gallery in Borgo Ognissanti 31 r.
