Antique dealer and architect, Alberto Boralevi is member of a family that has been dealing with ancient carpets and textiles for at least three generations. He specializes in tribal weavings, in rare and Haute Epoque carpet fragments, in Islamic textiles and embroideries and in Italian and Eastern-European traditional folk textiles. Besides dealing, he lectures on Oriental rugs and works as appraiser and consultant. Moreover he organises study tours to rug producing countries and for visiting important Rug Collections worldwide.
