World's 101 best steak restaurants, 3 Tuscan restaurants among the best meat restaurants in the world
Among the top 50 also two Florentine restaurants
Tuscany is an unmissable gourmet destination for fans of meat and in particular the Florentine steak. According to the World's 101 best steak restaurants ranking (established by the London-based Upper Cut Media House), which has identified the list of the 101 best restaurants in the world where to eat meat, there are three Tuscan restaurants counted among the top 50. (Here is our selection of the 15 best steaks in the world).
In 6th place in the ranking we find I Due Cippi, a renowned restaurant in Saturnia, in the province of Grosseto, which offers a cuisine capable of combining traditional dishes with modern and sophisticated reinterpretations. Two other restaurants in Florence also stand out in the global ranking: Regina Bistecca in 19th place and Trattoria Dall'Oste in 43rd place.
Regina Bistecca, number 19 on the prestigious World Best Steak Restaurant list and no. 2 in Italy, is hosting in its historic premises in Via Ricasoli, the renowned restaurant Amaren from Bilbao, number 16 and already Campeon National de Parrilla in Spain in 2019. On 5, 6 and 7 November, three exclusive and unique evenings of The Rare Tour will see the two chefs, Vincenzo Dilorenzo of the Florentine restaurant and Aitor Del Olmo for the Basque restaurant, work four-handed to share the kitchen and serve a meat-based menu where the tradition of the Florentine grill will dialogue with Basque gastronomic culture. Tuscan and Basque wines will accompany the meats of the two origins where meat plays a predominant role in their respective gastronomic cultures. Find out more about the event HERE.
