Viareggio Carnival 2020

The 147th edition of the most famous Carnival in Tuscany and the pictures of the new floats

There will be six Masked Courses of the Carnival of Viareggio 2020 scheduled from 1 to 25 February. Absolute novelty: the night parade on Thursday, February 20, to celebrate Shrove Thursday.

This is the new calendar of the 147th year of the Viareggio Carnival. 
The Carnival of Viareggio 2020 will begin Saturday, February 1 with the opening ceremony, the flag raising ceremony and the first Masked Course.

The floats will return to parade on Viali a Mare on Sunday 9, Saturday 15, Thursday 20, Sunday 23 and Tuesday 25 February for the grand finale with the announcement of the winners and the closing fireworks display.
A crescendo of events, which from Shrove Thursday and Shrove Tuesday will create a sort of "week" of Carnival.
