Tosca & Nino Restaurant and the new Rinascente
The famous restaurant - bottega arrives in the department store in piazza della Repubblica
Sitting at the table and slowly savoring the flavors guarded by tradition is one of the rituals
preferred by the whole region. A region around which TOSCA & NINO has condensed
his philosophy, developing a concept that immediately makes his mouth water.
The restaurant and café is located on the fourth floor in a warm and welcoming environment. The space then continues on the fifth floor with the wine shop and the shop and in the terrace with a panoramic view of the Duomo of Florence and will be open from morning to midnight: perfect for a snack, meals and after dinner.
The idea was born from the union of forces between Simone Arnetoli and Laura Tosetti, Florentine entrepreneurs and founders of Galateo Ricevimenti. Tosca & Nino also satisfies those who live quickly: gastronomy is also take away sealed in recyclable food paper trays for you to enjoy anywhere.
The gastronomic offer focuses on Tuscan products, rigorously selected and which want to rediscover the pleasure of local food: from cheeses, cold meats, to herbal teas, beers and organic fruit juices. Every day will be the right one to discover a traditional dish: from pappa to tomato to ribollita and a slow-leavening panified specialty, a real serenade dedicated to the flavors of the past.
The restaurant menu is a declaration of eternal love for Tuscany: from the first courses of pasta fresh (pappardelle with wild boar ragù, Mugello tortelli with white ragout of Cinta Senese), to the main courses meat and fish (grilled beef fillet, cod with chickpeas, in zimino and tomato sauce). Finale in sweetness with homemade apple pie or the "dessert of friendship" to be shared at the table and break with your hands: Giotto of Florentine cream ice cream with Montecatini pods assembled on moment. All accompanied by a good glass of Wine, from the cellars of Chianti, Maremma, Elba and other wine areas that Tosca & Nino has chosen for you.
After the opening of the Rome store and the renovation of the Turin one, for the Rinascente it's time for Florence: the 7 floors of the building set in the heart of the city in piazza della Repubblica, with a terrace overlooking the landscape between domes and roofs of historical architectures. They will be completely reinvented. To be the driving and original engine of the renovation of the store, is the concept of craftsmanship.
The new fourth floor of the Florence store opened on February 7, 2019 cancels the borders, ready to cohabit together women's clothes, handicrafts and traditional Tuscan food. A journey through the five senses that redesigns the department store in a new way: it will be possible to find, next to each other, timeless tailored dresses; intimate and beachwear; the resort collection; fragrances for the home and a selection of gourmet items.
