From February 27 to April 23, the great exhibition that opens the 2016 of the Museo Marino Marini
The Marino Marini Museum, Florence, inaugurates the exhibition program of 2016, Saturday, February 27 with Top Hundred, a project by Maurizio Nannucci. One hundred works selected from multiples, editions, books and artists' discs, videos, magazines, documents and ephemera of a hundred players in the international art scene from the sixties to today, like Daniel Buren, John Cage, Maurizio Cattelan, Christo, Piero Manzoni, Lucio Fontana, Franco Vaccari, from the collection of the Archives area he began in 1967.
And 'an ongoing project where every new presentation gives the idea of an open archive and in which the "Top Hundred" becomes a statement of preparation and content. The Florentine stop going to the Museion, Bolzano, where the first 100 "Top Hundred" were presented from September 2015 to January 2016.
Top Hundred is a reflection on the concept of the reproducibility of art, which, freed from the aura of uniqueness and dell'irripetibilità, opens to a wider circulation and democratic where the economic value becomes relative.
Top Hundred" thus becomes a journey through the art of the last fifty years, from which emerges the richness and the innovative strength of the many styles that have characterized it.
One hundred works that integrate with the permanent collection.
For the occasion it will be published a catalog with texts by Andreas Hapkemeyer, Maurizio Nannucci, Gabriele Detterer, Letizia Ragaglia, Alberto Salvadori and the contributions Caterina Toschi and Alessandra Acocella.
