On Monday, 8 until Tuesday 16, the Limonoia of Villa Strozzi becomes the book's planet with the "MaggioLibro" review with encounters, readings, books, magazines and biographies. In the evening, the Theater Niccolini with "Dante Inferno" and opera lovers, there is the Maggio Musicale at the Opera in Florence with the "Don Carlo" directed by Zubin Mehta.

On Tuesday, 9th, until Sunday, at Pergola, a great historical colossal: "The Death of Danton" directed by Mario Martone. On stage, 29 actors including Giuseppe Battiston (as Danton), Ubu Prize and Maschere Paolo Pierobon (in the role of Robespierre), Iaia Forte, Paolo Graziosi, in Georg Büchner's impressive 'colossal' death by Danton The last days of Terror, friendship before and then the conflict between Danton and Robespierre. The sacred music of O Flos Colende is in Santa Maria del Fiore with the soprano C.Forte and the organ of D.Innocenzi.
