The most beautiful events and tips for an unforgettable week

Monday 16: the week and to do that in the best of ways, after a nice stroll downtown, stop at Palazzo Strozzi, where is Bellezza Divina with masterpieces await ninety great artists from all over the world, from Van Gogh to Picasso via Fontana. Truly unmissable!
For evening, Kraftwerk concert in the Opera of Florence!

Tuesday 17: Florence and art: a marriage that lasts forever, again to seal this union, the inauguration of the new exhibition of contemporary art Visio Next Generation Moving Images. Video works by 12 international artists under 35, the Strozzina until 20 December. Theatergoers open your ears: the Pergola for the whole week, La bottega del caffè (The Coffee Shop) with Pino Micol and Vittorio Viviani, in his latest work on the master Goldoni. The Viper, an exceptional appointment with the hard rock of class! Wednesday 18: starts today and lasts until Sunday 22 Lo Schermo dell’Arte Film Festival in the elegant setting of the Odeon cinema: art films, documentaries on contemporary art, video installations and meetings with artists. Then Read our Best of! Thinking of the evening, Al canto, al ballo (the singing, the dancing): show for families on the birth of the Opera in Florence, produced by the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino at Teatro Goldoni, or out of town but not too much, at Fabbricone of Prato, La Notte (The Night), a show-concert by and with Pippo Delbono.

Thursday 19: still grand openings with Florence Capital 1865-2015 at the Gallery of Modern Art in Palazzo Pitti. The great works of the Royal Palace together wonderfully in one exhibition in honor of the 150th anniversary of Florence Capital.
For the Teatro Verdi, Fiorello, who returns with a performance time of Fiorello where there will be music, improvisations, gag, duets with famous artists in "connection" (until November 22). At Opera di Firenze orchestra of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino directed by Stefano Montanari (Symphony no. 1 by Beethoven, Vivaldi's Four Seasons).

Friday 20: If you have not seen Tuscany '900. From Roses to Burri, this is the time to do it! Until January 10, at Villa Bardini the Florentine collections 'secret', or not normally open to the public: artists such as Balla, De Chirico, Fluffy, Manzoni, Pascali, Fontana and Castellani. Saturday 21: Weekend time! Let's start with the Emerson String Quartet, in the afternoon at the Pergola, not forgetting the amazing works of the brilliant contemporary artist Jeff Koons at the Palazzo Vecchio until December 28. At Flog the frontman and author of Zen Circus, Appino with A Toys Orchestra. If your passion is jazz, then for you the Pinocchio Live Jazz with Simone Graziano. In Lucca the Photolux Festival Lucca, the international biennial of photography, up to 13 December. But this is also the first weekend of one of the largest events dedicated to a true gastronomic firstfruits: white truffles, celebrated in San Miniato on Saturdays and Sundays until 6 December.

Sunday 22: 10 am to 18 the MercaMercatino dedicated to extra virgin in the exceptional location of the Central Market. Near the Textile Museum of Prato, the opening of Heritage, Stories of fabrics and fashion (until April 30).
To top it off: Zubin Mehta conducts the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence Opera, while in Livorno, Jovanotti takes the stage of PalaLivorno.
