Is Maurizio Pollini to inaugurate, Monday, February 9 (20.30), The Great Performers, cycle which brings together the Opera in Florence some of the largest and best-known pianists internationally and that stems from the renewed collaboration between the Friends of Music of Florence and Fondazione Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.

A gallery of excellence of pianism world that will continue with Krystian Zimerman (March 20), Evgeny Kissin (March 26), Maria João Pires (March 30), Sir Andras Schiff (April 19), Lang Lang (May 4), Murray Perahia (May 8), Grigory Sokolov (18 May).

And is already sold out for the expected return of Pollini, again in Florence after nearly eight years after his last appearance, interpreter of a program that brings Beethoven and Chopin, two of the favorite authors.
