All the film libraries and cultural venues had to close for the coronavirus emergency, but it's kind of like they didn't. After physically closing their doors, many of them announced that they had digitized most of their archives. Let's see our selection, which is useful at this point in time when #we're #home.
It is called Firenze Tv and is the new project signed by Teatro della Pergola and Tommaso Sacchi, Councillor for Culture of Florence and President of the Theatre. On Youtube Firenze Tv will show its viewers a new way of being at the center of Florentine culture, obviously from home. The voice of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino continues to make itself heard in the homes of music lovers thanks to #noisiamoilmaggio - Our music to be together, the online broadcast program that every day on Facebook, will play for free some of the most memorable performances in the distant and recent history of the Theatre. An initiative that started last March 14th with Madama Butterfly performed by the Orchestra del Maggio conducted by Zubin Mehta and that will start again from Sunday March 22nd.
