Land of great reds, is Tuscany turning into a region with a sparkling wine vocation? Probably not, but excellent results are not lacking from the coastal provinces of Lucca, Pisa, Livorno and Grosseto, where Trebbiano marries more fragrant grapes such as those of Petit Manseng or the more classic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, to the hinterland where Sangiovese discovers a new productive declination, without forgetting Vernaccia di San Gimignano. There is no shortage of experiences related to the use of the more classic Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. And we, this year, suggest the 15 best Metodo Classico sparkling wines.
