From September 29 to October 4, the great cinema back to Siena

From this year, the beating heart of Terra di Siena Film Festival is the Italian cinema. The festival, held from September 29 to October 4, is now in its nineteenth edition and is dedicated to the first and second films, unedited and in preview. Out of competition there are other Italian films with several guests.

The international showcase, which featured the last edition, is divided into two sections with Panorama Europe and A look at the world. Not to betray the attention to young people, this year, has been holding the competition of short films (by BadTaste) and documentaries.

Among the events not to be missed: on September 29, Terre di Siena Film Festival opens with a screening of the film Corn Island by George Ovashvili, nominated for an Oscar for best foreign film. Present at the festival, in addition to the director, the actress starring Mariam Buturishvili.

On 30 September, do not miss the premiere of the new film by Maria Sole Tognazzi: You and I, with Margherita Buy and Sabrina Ferilli. The Buy, for the occasion, he received from the mayor of Siena the prestigious Seguso Award-screen persona of the year.
