Taste 11 and FuoriDiTaste 2016
8 to 14 March. The Salone del Gusto invades Florence
From the 12th to the 14th of March, Florence, Leopolda Station, the 11th edition of Taste. Now that the target of the first ten years has already been around, Taste is ever greater, much more mature and complete, ready to welcome the best names in the Italian and international food and wine sector.
Many names have been used to refer to Taste over the last ten years: food fair, the food event of the year, the fair dedicated to the pleasure of the palate, the home of Italian lifestyle and other similar names that focus on the excellence and undisputed leadership of the fair in such a core sector of Italian economy.
Food in all its variations, from gourmet to street food - which is ever more popular- and food & kitchen design finds in Taste its best expression as well as the best showcase, and Pitti Immagine will make it worth in 2016 too, to give to the over 300 exhibitors and the thousands of visitors (they count on at least 15,000 visitors) the best of it.
Along the corridors and inside the stands, the kitchen technical equipment required to prepare all the specialties will be present as well, though not too much visible to the visitor -even though the open kitchen trend is ever more popular among restaurant owners.
But watch out, if you think it’s all about binging on food, you’d better go anywhere else, since this fair is meant for all people who work in this sector, visitors with refined tastes, people who are curious about new flavors, who love both discovering something new and the dishes that belong to a cooking tradition of a certain territory, best represented in Florence in the many ‘botteghe’ that offer the possibility of discovering the culture of good local, even zero kilometer, food.
Themed debates, tastings and a corner with the exhibited products on sale are the elements that will characterize the event with which we will celebrate the end of the Winter in the name of plasure and tastiness. A precious tip to all visitors of this Florentine fair? Visit all exhibitors’ stands with a scretch pad at hand. Taste and ask about the products. Note down everything and buy at the shop what you liked most.
