Saranno Famosi nel Vino at Stazione Leopolda
On 3 and 4 December, the second edition of the talent show for emerging wines in collaboration with AIS Toscana
Second edition of Saranno Famosi nel Vino, the wine event scheduled at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence on 3 and 4 December which brings to the fore young wineries that are less than 10 years old or labels on the market for less than 5 years.
Ais Toscana This year, the event will also include gin, an ancient, dynamic spirit, with a dedicated area where Italian producers and gins that aim to become a cult in the coming years will be in attendance. Over 200 emerging wine labels representing the main Italian PDOs and PGIs, as well as the 40 Italian gin producers selected by ‘Il Gingegnere’, will enliven two days of tastings and workshops dedicated to wine lovers, gin lovers, buyers, restaurateurs and sommeliers.
Three masterclasses are planned: one dedicated to Roero in collaboration with the Bric Castelvej winery and one dedicated to Valpolicella in collaboration with the Valentina Cubi winery both curated by Marcello Vagini, AIS delegate, free of charge and with limited number of participants. The masterclass Brunello in preview: discovering a wonderful vintage...2019 is led by Leonardo Romanelli. On Sunday 3 December at 12 noon, AIS Toscana will present the 2024 edition of the Vitae guide. Among the novelties of this edition is Wine and Florence, the event that opens up to the city with the participating wineries offering tastings of their wines paired with specially designed menus in a number of Florentine restaurants.
