PITTI _ ISLAND is the new theme of the Pitti Immagine summer salons. An island as a still point, a fixed point, a physical and inner point, but above all a point of encounter and comparison. "PITTI _ ISLAND, the guiding theme for summer 2022, will be an imaginary island, connected with the whole world in a mutual and constant exchange. A land of selected botany, sociable and open, at times amusing, reflective and engaging, sensitive to ideas, to meet, to be together before resuming, each one, his or her own journey," explains Agostino Poletto, General Director of Pitti Immagine. "In all of this we read a perfect metaphor for our salons and the objectives we want to achieve at each edition, selecting the best of fashion creativity".
Wales Bonner is the Guest Designer at Pitti Immagine Uomo n.102. With a fashion show event in a Florentine location yet to be revealed, the designer of Anglo-Jamaican origin will present a preview of the new Spring-Summer 2023 collection of her namesake brand, Wales Bonner.

The Fortezza da Basso and Florence become the launching pad for previews, projects, important anniversaries and special collaborations, the place-to-be for anyone who wants to be up-to-date and connected with the world of fashion and its continuous transformations.
Among previews and special projects during Pitti Uomo, important anniversaries are also celebrated, such as the 70th anniversary of Roy Roger's, the first Italian denim brand, which celebrates the evening of the 14th at Palazzo Vecchio with a short film made by photographer Bruce Weber.
