Pitti Immagine: Man, Baby and Yarns moved from 21 to 23 February
The three symbolic events of Florentine fashion together along the axis Fortezza da Basso-Stazione Leopolda
The winter editions of the Pitti Immagine salons (Uomo, Bimbo and Filati) all move from the beginning of January to 21-23 February 2021, along the Fortezza da Basso-Stazione Leopolda axis, while maintaining the focus on their individual identities.
"They will be three extraordinary days of fairs, special events, installations and live digital" promises Pitti Immagine in a statement.
"It will be a very special Pitti," concludes Agostino Poletto, general manager of Pitti Immagine, "because the idea of working in an emergency situation, without hiding it, concentrating in a single time window Man, Yarn and Baby, to be kept firmly focused on their particular characteristics, working on two places of choice such as Fortezza da Basso and Leopolda, while at the same time having the opportunity and the need to transfer all this in real time to digital, pushed us to think in a very different way".
The latest news is that the Fortezza will also host an intense programme of events and fashion presentations, produced by guests and a selection of the exhibitors themselves, or dedicated to special projects in the three salons. And the Stazione Leopolda will experience the same contamination, which, thanks to its size and layout of the areas, together with its vocation as a venue for exhibitions and fashion shows, could also open up to more commercial initiatives.
