Officine Gullo House: the place where Florence’s heritage and haute cuisine come together

A meeting and sharing space where beautiful placée dinners and engaging cooking classes can be organized

Officine Gullo House is a special place, designed to preserve the history of age-old know-how, of a family and also of the city. It is located in the heart of Florence, in an ancient deconsecrated chapel, part of the monumental complex of San Salvatore a Ognissanti. A place of gathering and sharing where the company showcases its most iconic products and invites guests on a sensory, culinary and historical journey through the great Florentine tradition. The quintessential experience is a formal sit-down dinner: in a unique scenery, in front of the chef’s table of Officine Gullo’s island kitchen, the chef creates his culinary masterworks before the guests, treating them to a convivial experience unique of its kind.

For those, instead, interested in learning the chef’s culinary secrets, Officine Gullo offers engaging cooking classes, where guests prepare delicious dishes under the chef’s guidance and then enjoy them paired with select wines.

Dish after dish, the experience is punctuated by the story of the deep bond between the birth of modern cuisine, the history of Florence, the age-old metalworking tradition and the city’s historic heritage. It is the story of Carmelo Gullo, of his youthful fascination for an old stove found in a storehouse and his brilliant intuition to upgrade it into a luxury and high-tech version. Today Officine Gullo is an Italian leading company in the production of luxury metal kitchens and professional cooking appliances.

Now by Carmelo Gullo’s side at the company’s helm are his three sons, Pietro, Andrea and Matteo. Officine Gullo has flagship showrooms in major international cities and capitals of design including: Florence, Milan, London, New York, Palm Beach, Los Angeles, Boston, Moscow, Cape Town. The Florentine company uses only the finest metals, such as brass, copper and steel, to make its creations and according to the great Florentine craftsmanship tradition. The result of such an approach is a style halfway between classic and contemporary, with technology as an integral part of a successful aesthetic and functional project.
