A Night for Ant in Piazza Santa Croce
Thursday 7 July sees the return of the charity event of fashion, music and art
After last year's great success, A Night for ANT - a dress code total white charity event sponsored by the Municipality of Florence - returns on Thursday, 7 July. The event is designed to raise funds to support the free specialised home medical assistance service BIMBI in ANT, which the Foundation provides to young paediatric cancer patients so that they can be cared for in the warmth of their own homes, among their loved ones and belongings.
Guests will be welcomed in Piazza Santa Croce, which will be the setting for the event featuring art, music, fashion and much more. The evening will begin at 8.30 p.m. with a placée dinner and table seating. During the event, moments of great emotion will alternate with the extraordinary participation of some famous surprise musical guests.
The evening, like last year, will have the artistic direction of Jacopo Durazzani and is made possible thanks to the invaluable support of Main Donor Sammontana and will see the participation of Raffaella Pannuti, President of Fondazione ANT and Simone Martini, Florentine ANT Delegate together with the Committee of Honour. "I am truly happy to be back in Florence again for this magnificent evening, which allows us to be together in the sign of solidarity," commented Raffaella Pannuti, President of Fondazione ANT. "We are going through a complicated period on a national and international level, but we are and always will be at the side of cancer patients and their families, offering free home care, psychological support, services: but above all, we will not make them feel alone".
All proceeds from the event will be used to support the free home medical assistance service Bimbi in ANT. ANT's health structure in the Tuscany region is made up of 9 doctors, 1 nutritionist, 8 nurses and 4 psychologists.
