Two nights in the heart of Chianti and a Michelin star for the new year

At the Castello del Nero, the historical residence of the XII century in the heart of Chianti, the New Year'Eve will be celebrated in 2017 "under a lucky star", the Michelin.

For the occasion, this 5-star hotel has organized a Gala Dinner at the starry restaurant and a special offer of two nights.

During the evening, the live music will accompany the six-course gourmet menu designed by Chef Di Pirro, in a mix of flavors designed to amaze and enchant guests, blue dall'astice with potato mousse, crispy burnt bread, lime and tarragon emulsion tortelli stuffed with prawns and coconut, burrata in osmosis, mullet with rosemary and saffron water of San Gimignano to the cost of turbot, soft vanilla Jerusalem artichokes, mushrooms and polenta Garfagnana.

Last but not least, "The Marchesa dresses in red", a Bavarian Dulcey, praline, pistachio, bright red icing and chocolate ice cream with raspberries.

And after midnight toast "auspicious" made with sparkling wine, sausage and lentils.

And if the 2016 Castello del Nero closes the banner of haute cuisine, also on 1 January it will feature a gourmet surprise event not to be missed with the beginning of the New Year’s Brunch, always included in the package and designed by Chef Pirro, with a range of hot and cold dishes in a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, including tomato salad and tuna belly, poached egg with creamy parmesan and truffle all'isolana and cod with tomato, olives and capers, just to name a few.
