SEPTEMBER
On September 22 (repeat performances on the 25th, 27th and 29th ), La Rondine by Puccini, directed by Denis Krief and conducted by Maestro Marco Armiliato, will be staged at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Theater.
OCTOBER
Renzo Arbore e la sua Orchestra Italiana will be back on the stage of Florence’s Teatro Verdi on October 1. On October 4, the Nabucco by Verdi (repeat performances on October 7, 10 and 13 ), directed by Leo Muscato and starring the great Placido Domingo in the role of Nabucco, will be staged at the Maggio Musicale Theater. As fresh and bubbly as their music, Pinguini Tattici Nucleari will be performing at the Nelson Mandela Forum on October 24. Same stage for the long-awaited “In persona tour” by Marracash, on October 26. Achille Lauro, at TuscanyHall on October 28.
NOVEMBER
Mahmood lands in town: on October 4 at TuscanyHall. On November 5, at Teatro Verdi, the great bandoneon and accordion player Richard Galliano. Tommaso Paradiso’s live concert on November 25 at the Nelson Mandela Forum. Dario Brunori is ready for his Brunori SAS Tour 2020: on November 26 at the Nelson Mandela Forum. On November 27, Otello by Verdi will be staged at the Maggio Musicale Theater, conducted by Zubin Mehta.
DECEMBER
From Star Wars to Harry Potter, a journey through the legend of John Williams, with music performed live by the famous K&K Philharmonic on December 9 at Teatro Verdi. On December 23, at the Maggio Musicale Theater (repeat performances on December 27 and 29 ; on January 3, 5 and 10), Linda di Chamounix by Donizetti, directed by Michele Gamba, starring the soprano Jessica and the great bass Michele Pertusi. The New Year’s Eve concert will be conducted by Marco Armiliato, performing a Verdi repertoire, on December 31 at the Maggio Musicale Theater, with the Maggio Chorus and Orchestra.
