ManInArte, the event of 25 November 2021
A project dedicated to artistic craftsmanship in an area of the former Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino
The cultural association ManInArte will present on Thursday 25 November 2021 from 5 pm its project dedicated to artistic craftsmanship, in an area of the former Manifattura Ginori in Sesto Fiorentino, on the outskirts of Florence.
The choice of space is not random; the area of the former Manifattura Ginori is a place that tells an important story of local craftsmanship which, from now on, will be enriched by new stories made up of the many collaborations that this project will put in place.
The association was born at the end of 2020 in the midst of a pandemic, when Simone Cardinali, Chiara Caminati and Stefano Lepri - goldsmith, jewellery designer and gem-setter - decided to defy all market logic by joining forces to realise a common project.
In addition to the ateliers of the three founding artisans, ManInArte is a place for meeting and contamination, giving artists, designers and artisans the opportunity to have a space available where they can express themselves.
The association will also set up the Scuola di Bottega, in collaboration with universities and design schools. Young enthusiasts will be given the opportunity to learn about the handmade art of Master Goldsmiths Simone Cardinali and Stefano Lepri.
