From 1 May to 31 October 2015 there is one more reason to visit Florence and its
amazing beauties. Palazzo Vecchio, which contains seven centuries of history
city, now adds a new element to this story, by hosting the Sala d'Arme
Magnificent, digital artwork created by Felice Limosani and narrated by Maestro Andrea Bocelli. Magnificent - the incredible story of the beauty that revolutionized
the world is not a movie, no documentary or an exhibition. It is a visual and sound
close to new forms of expression somewhere between auteur animation and video installation art.
The idea of Limosani major paintings and sculptures of the Renaissance
You have been developed with digital techniques, lending itself to a new look, and addictive contemporary. A thrilling sequence of episodes and anecdotes really happened,
symbolically represented in a plot that leaves room for reflection, with a
message of great relevance: the magnificence of man.
The spectacular nature of the projections, the narrator of the master Andrea Bocelli, who has lent his voice for this special initiative, and the soundtrack spatialized which gives a snug, accompany the viewer in an experience that speaks to the heart and all 'imagination.
A project aimed at all, meant to be enjoyed by audiences of all ages and
programming interspersed every 30 minutes in Italian and in English (the duration of
each projection is 20 minutes).
The project is implemented with the support of the Unipol group as main partner and
participation of Parmigiani Fleurier.
