Lucca Summer Festival 2024: all the guests and the programme
From June to July, 14 days of music in the Tuscan city with some of the most important national and international stars
The Tuscan summer lights up with numerous festivals dedicated to both Italian and international music. One of the most famous of these is the Lucca Summer Festival, which generally takes place in Piazza Napoleone, in the historic heart of Lucca, during June and July and brings many national but also international stars to the Tuscan city.
Over the years since 1998, many world-famous bands and artists have performed on this important stage: from Bob Dylan to James Brown, from Mark Knopfler to Jamiroquai; Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Ennio Morricone and many others. In 2017, for example, the highlight of the festival was a performance by the legendary Rolling Stones; in 2018, Roger Waters also held a concert at the historic walls of Lucca.
Also this year, the programme is full of concerts not to be missed; here is the complete programme.
