Luca Magliano is Guest Designer at Pitti Uomo 105

Bologna-based designer set to produce special show in Florence

Luca Magliano, soul of the Magliano brand, is the Guest Designer of Pitti Uomo 105, which takes place in Florence from January 9 to 12, 2024. The Bologna-based designer is set to produce a special show in Florence at a location yet to be revealed.

"Luca stands out for his ability to model in an original way the cultural and social canons usually associated with Italian fashion: a central element in this sense is his inclination toward truly collective work" - says Lapo Cianchi, Pitti Immagine's director of communications and events - "We find it interesting, when possible, to periodically scan the time - the career, the stylistic evolution - of designers who have made their public debut at Pitti Uomo (Magliano was the winner of Who's Next 2017 and was Pitti Italics in 2018, ed.) and who have then established themselves internationally. And finally, we like the person, his generosity and enthusiasm, his cultured simplicity. As a true Emilian."

Magliano is an Italian fashion brand founded in 2017 by Luca Magliano. The fashion house is based in Bologna, Italy. In 2018 Pitti Uomo hosted the brand's debut fashion show, entitled Guardaroba per Uomo Innamorato. Since 2018, Magliano has regularly presented its collections on the runway during Milan Fashion Week. Its design is minimalist yet chaotic and represents the quintessence of Italian-ness. In 2023, the brand was awarded the LVMH Karl Lagerfeld prize.
