Live on the River, unmissable event with floating festival on the Arno River
Friday, July 19 an evening of music and fun with free admission
Imagine a summer evening in Florence, the sun setting behind the Ponte Vecchio and music filling the air as you float on a raft in the middle of the Arno River. This is Live on the River, a festival born out of a love for music and the beautiful city of Florence.
After the great success of the 2015 and 2023 editions, the festival returns on July 19, promising an unforgettable evening. The raft is positioned in front of the Canottieri Firenze, providing a breathtaking show next to the majestic Ponte Vecchio. The stage on the water features magnificent performers such as Letizia Fuochi, Leopard Vjolet, Giulia Millanta, Merilujacket and Dalia Buccianti, accompanied by talented musicians. The Femina Choir, directed by Lisa Kant, will participate with its overwhelming energy and commitment to the fight against violence against women. The festival celebrates The Tuscany of Women, a regional initiative highlighting women's contributions to culture and society, and will also be dedicated to charity. This year, the event is enhanced by a twinning with Austin, Texas, creating a cultural bridge between two cities with strong musical identities. Making the evening even more special are presenters Gianfranco Monti and Max Galligani.
Admission to the festival is free from 7 p.m., giving everyone a chance to enjoy this unique experience.
