Recently renovated to give it a new freshness without distorting it, Le Fonticine restaurant is enveloped in an intimate, simple and elegant atmosphere. Its history began in 1939, when the then owners first met. Today the new owner Alex, together with restaurant manager Alcide, and Chef Diego Babboni, have restored Le Fonticine to its former glory, when it was a favorite restaurant of travelers and Florentines.

Contributing to this renewed flourishing of the restaurant is a team of professionals driven by passion and enthusiasm, always attentive to the raw materials and with maniacal attention to every detail.

Ristorante Le Fonticine

Dishes are lovingly prepared by Diego and his staff only with seasonal, fresh and selected products from the San Lorenzo Central Market and from Tuscan farms and small producers.

They start with a mouth-watering selection of organic Tuscan cured meats and cheeses, and then move on to the most varied fresh pasta dishes and main courses, interpreted with taste and lightness. A selection of meats to be cooked on the grill, among which stands out the queen of the menu, the Bistecca alla Fiorentina, which you can choose from the best sirloins that the chef himself selects from prized female scottona steaks less than 24 months old. The steak is cooked over chestnut, cypress and oak coals. When ordering, the chef takes the sirloin, cuts it and shows it to the customer along with a card showing the breed, weight and price, again certifying quality. Your stop at Le Fonticine can only end on a high note with homemade desserts and a selection of liqueurs and digestives. All to be paired with an interesting wine list, passionately chosen by Alex to delight the finest palates.
