Italian Maestro, Florentine craftsmanship back on stage at The Mall Firenze
From 23 February to 9 March a series of live shows featuring some of the best Florentine master craftsmen
From 23 February to 9 March, The Mall Firenze, the exclusive luxury outlet in the heart of Tuscany, will once again host great Florentine craftsmanship, with the second edition of Italian Maestro, the initiative promoted together with OMA - Osservatorio dei Mestieri d'Arte, an association that has always been committed to the protection and promotion of high Italian craftsmanship.
For a fortnight, the Greenhouse Station, the luxury mall's elegant greenhouse-garden, will host a series of live shows featuring some of Florence's best master craftsmen. A veritable workshop on view, where in addition to admiring the artisans at work, excellent examples of the mastery of Made in Italy craftsmanship, it will also be possible to purchase their creations, taking with you a unique piece that tells of the precious genius loci of this territory. A concentrate of savoir-faire that will enchant visitors to The Mall Florence by showcasing the excellence of Florentine tradition.
One can admire ancient arts such as the now almost disappeared scagliola, the fine technique of working silver, another historical Florentine tradition, or that of wooden marquetry, the art of paper, which at The Mall Florence will give life to colourful bouquets of flowers, or even the magic of hands shaping ceramics, a spectacle full of fascination.
A great tradition, that of craftsmanship, from which The Mall Firenze itself originated, which loves to promote this important heritage, as it is not only a place for shopping, but also a destination that allows its guests to experience beauty in all its forms.
