How to experience the centre of Florence in an electric car

A tour in the heart of the city aboard the new Taycan, the first 100% electric Porsche

Thanks to Auto In Group and the revolutionary Porsche Taycan Turbo we accompany you discovering the world of electric driving and all its comforts for those who travel in a city like Florence.

The Centro Porsche di Firenze di Auto In Group is the only reference point for fans of this historic and luxurious car manufacturer in the provinces of Florence, Prato, Pistoia, Arezzo, Siena, Livorno and Grosseto.

Last February Taycan was born, the first 100% electric Porsche, completely zero emissions. Silent, elegant, futuristic. 3.2 seconds from 0 to 100, 680 horsepower and autonomy of about 400 km for the Turbo, but two other models are also available: Taycan 4S, with 4-wheel drive and the more powerful Turbo S.

Unlimited access in all restricted traffic zones, including some pedestrian areas

It's the only electric one in the world that can take full advantage of the power of the Ionity columns, thanks to the 800 Volt and 270 kW recharging, with which you can restore 100 km of autonomy in five minutes, or go from 5 to 80% battery power in just 22 and a half minutes.

A car that doesn't renounce to sports driving and attractive lines, but that cares about the health of the Planet and its inhabitants.

When sustainable technology meets a city like Florence, the pleasure of driving is enriched with many advantages.

About 50 charging stations in the old town alone

Starting from the access to all the restricted traffic zone (ZTL) without the need of any markings, simply communicating the license plate to SAS Spa, in order to be included in the White List Permanent and move freely even in the streets of the beautiful old town, divided into five sectors. ZTL A is the most central and includes the area around Piazza Duomo, Piazza della Repubblica and Piazza della Signoria. The B zone covers all the rest of the so-called "Di qua d'Arno" except the part of Lungarno of the Zecca Vecchia, where the area around Piazza Santa Croce is also part of the ZTL G. Then there are the ZTL F and O, both on the other side of the Arno: the first is the one that crosses most of the district of San Niccolò going then in the direction of Arcetri, the second instead turns in the area of places like Piazza Pitti, Piazza Santo Spirito and Piazza del Cestello. Electric cars can in fact also circulate in some pedestrian areas, those of Type B, such as the stretch of Via degli Strozzi between Piazza Repubblica and Via Vecchietti, Via Roma, Borgo Pinti between Via di Mezzo and Via S.Egidio, Borgo dei Greci, Piazza Duomo for the portion behind the southeast side of the apse of the cathedral, and Via dei Calzaiuoli for the stretch between Via di Porta Rossa and Piazza San Giovanni.

Enjoy Florence surrounded by the silence of a zero-emission car

In addition to this, there is free parking on the blue stripes for residents in Florence - to which it is sufficient to display on the dashboard a copy of the registration certificate with the owner's address of residence, the license plate of the vehicle and the fact that it is an electric car - and the 50% discount for those coming from outside the city, by contacting SAS SpA via email, to whom you can send a copy of the vehicle registration certificate together with a copy of an identification document.

Not to mention the important network of electric columns with which the entire municipality is equipped. Currently more than 170, each with two charging sockets. Of which about fifty in the historic centre, such as in Piazza San Marco, Via della Pergola, Piazza del Mercato Nuovo, Borgo Ognissanti, but also in Piazza del Carmine and Piazza del Cestello.

To know where the nearest one is, just go to eneldrive.it, where all the charging points for electric vehicles are indicated, both those of the Municipality and those of Enel X or other operators. By clicking on one of the icons that appear on the map, you can see the type of charging socket (type 3a, maximum power 6 Kw or type 2, maximum power 25 Kw) and if the socket is occupied by some vehicle being recharged.

The charging columns can be used thanks to a card issued by any energy manager for electric mobility, by stipulating a regular supply contract, on which the tariff will also depend, or through smartphone applications made available by the same managers.

The key to love and experience Florence like never before and with the timeless Porsche style.
