Gucci's cruise show at Palazzo Pitti

For the first time in history, the Palatine Gallery opens its doors to fashion

Parading alongside Raphael's Madonna della Seggiola are the models of Gucci designer Alessandro Michele. Who presented his Cruise 2018 collection along the Sale dei Pianeti in the Palatine Gallery of Palazzo Pitti.

A fashion show, Cruise, that breaks out of all the canonical fields of fashion, mixing boys and girls, winter and summer, fur and animal prints. For the occasion, there are not only professional models on the catwalk but also artists, such as Francesco Bianconi of Baustelle, the young singer Lucio Corsi, Jenny Beth (lead singer of Savage), James Righton, and Arun Roberts.

This is the third Cruise signed by Michele, who chose Florence and a place like the Palatina - which had never hosted a fashion show before - after the Art District in New York in 2015 and the cloisters of Westminster Abbey in London in 2016. Below is a gallery of the fashion show.
