Great art at the Galleria Continua

Kapoor, Kounellis, Pistoletto, Serse not to miss in San Gimignano

Parade of stars, more ... a constellation Galleria Continua: Anish Kapoor, Jannis Kounellis, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Serse. With an exhibition not to be missed San Gimignano became a place of great contemporary art.

Recognized worldwide as one of the most significant contemporary artists Anish Kapoor returns to exhibit in Italy with the exhibition Descension, an exhibition specially conceived for the space of the cinema theater of Galleria Continua of San Gimignano. Heart of the exhibition is the installation placed in the stalls, Descension, which also gives its name to the staff (see photo).

For the first time in the exhibition the exhibition of one of the leading figures of Italian post-war: Jannis Kounellis. The abandonment of the traditional concept of pictorial representation with a radical "out of the picture" the hold of a language with which, from '67, comes the pronouncement of a spatial obtainable every time from different places and contexts.

L’Esperienza del Paesaggio is the new staff of one of the most interesting figures in the Italian art world, Serse. For over twenty years, giving up the color, Serse consistently pursues a research-based practice and patient's original graphite drawing.
Michelangelo Pistoletto returns to San Gimignano with the solo exhibition entitled Prima dello Specchio . The exhibition consists of a large number of historical works through which the artist shows us the genesis of the mirror paintings.
