Forte dei Marmi, August aperitif in Peck Square.
New taste appointment in the exclusive gastronomy with Milanese origins
For this summer, Peck Forte dei Marmi presents its aperitif proposal in its storefront dehor. From 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., you can choose from the wine shop's more than 500 wine labels, accompanied by platters of particular cold cuts and cheeses and Peck's new gourmet sandwiches, with the advantage of being able to choose and consume a bottle at shelf price, alongside a small wine and champagne list by the glass. Here also is our interview with Leone Marzotto, ceo of Peck.
The environment is refined and at the same time informal. In fact, it stands as an ideal place for an aperitif a stone's throw from the sea thanks to its gourmet, fun and versatile offer. Benches, low chairs and tables, umbrellas and plants create a carefree environment that recalls the same mood as the day spent at the beach. For this new space, a wide and varied proposal was designed for the aperitif with some iconic gourmet products. Particularly popular are the gourmet sandwiches, created especially for Forte dei Marmi, characterized by a very high crispiness bread with very little crumbs. The sandwiches also become the perfect path through which to learn about Peck's iconic dishes: from Russian salad to vitello tonnato, from Bassano asparagus to lobster in pink sauce; from culatello di Zibello to Joselito-Etxebarri chorizo.
The wine selection touches on all the most important and vocated regions of both Italy and France, with labels that are not only emblazoned but are the result of careful research by the Maison's team of sommeliers. Peck, which celebrates its 140th birthday this year, has been awarded several times as the best delicatessen in Italy, and also mentioned by Forbes among the 50 best delicatessens in the world.
