The event dedicated to quality mixed drinks returns to Florence from 20 to 26 September

Florence Cocktail Week returns to Florence from 20 to 26 September. The sixth edition of the event dedicated to the art of mixology will be preceded by the third edition of Tuscany Cocktail Week, from 13 to 19 September.

Among the great novelties of the 2021 event organised by Paola Mencarelli, the book The Signature Cocktails of Florence Cocktail Week. 5 years in 143 drinks and the first edition of Venice Cocktail Week, which will be held in the Serenissima from 13 to 19 December 2021, with the logo signed by Piero Lissoni with Lissoni&Partners.

"This year the cocktail week is a sign of recovery for a sector that has been hard hit," says Paola Mencarelli. "The historical moment is not easy, but we have tried our best to give the Tuscan and Italian bar industry a burst of positive energy."

For a week, Florence will be full of cultural initiatives, recreational activities, Masterclasses and Night Shift with Italian and international guests and themed evenings in the company of the event's sponsor companies.

The Kermesse kicks off on Monday 20 September with the presentation of the book The Signature Cocktails of Florence Cocktail Week. 5 anni in 143 drinks at La Loggia del Piazzale Michelangelo. This will be followed at the Hotel Calimala by the Opening Party FCW21 dedicated to Tuscan mixing, 13 finalists of Tuscany Cocktail Week 2020 and special guests, Italian and international friends of FCW. All this will be enlivened by the extraordinary participation of the best interpreters of Pizza in Florence and Tuscany.

The event ends on Sunday 26th September with the FCW21 Awards Ceremony, during which the winning Bartenders and Cocktail Bars will be awarded in the various categories, including the Best Signature Cocktail FCW21.

In December, the Florence Cocktail Week format arrives in Venice, thanks to the support of Aman Venice. The festival will be held in the same way as in Florence. One week - from December. A week - from 13 to 19 December - in which Hotel Bars, Cocktail Bars and Historical Cafés will be involved in a different perspective from the more traditional one to which the city has been accustomed until now.
