FAI opens the doors of palaces and gardens

October 15 in the whole of Italy FAI Day Make Autumn. What are you going to see in Florence

Over 700 sites were open in these two days, for those who have hearts to the natural and artistic heritage Italian. Are almost always inaccessible spaces and exceptionally open to the public, arecheologiche areas, nature trails, villages, gardens, churches, palaces and museums. In the province of Florence among others, the Antiquarium of VILLA CORSINI of Castello, close to Florence (via Petraia 38) from 9.30 am to 5 pm opened in an extraordinary way, an unexpected treasure trove of antiquities. In 2013 marks the 700th anniversary of the birth of Boccaccio, a chance to visit the house and tomb of the writer.

GIARDINO BARINI E VILLA BARDINI
Address: Costa San Giorgio, 2. Hours: Saturday 23 and Sunday 24, 10 am – 5 pm (last admission). Sunday 24, at 11 am, a conversation with the master perfumer Lorenzo Villoresi on "Scents of Florentine gardens." 2 pm, conversation Mara Loving on "Myths and Legends of the trees." Access to exhibitions Boldini and Capucci reserved for Registered FAI, with the possibility to register on site.

Address: Viale Air Force, 14. Hours: Saturday 23 and Sunday 24, 10 am – 5 pm (last admission). To visit you must present a valid identity document.

MUSEO MARINI
Address: Piazza San Pancrazio, 1. Hours: Saturday 23, 10 am - 4.30 pm (last admission), Sunday, 24, 10 am - 1.30 pm (last admission).

 MUSEO STIBBERT
Address: Via Stibbert, 26. Hours: Saturday 23 and Sunday 24, 10 am – 5 pm (last admission).

PALAZZO PORTINARI SALVIATI
Address: Via de Bonizzi. Hours: Saturday 23, 10 am - 4.30 pm (last admission). The palace built in the fifteenth century by the Portinari family went to the Salviati in the sixteenth century.

VILLA LA QUIETE ALLE MONTALVE 

Address: Via di Boldrone, 2. Hours: Saturday 23 and Sunday 24, 10 am - 4.30 pm (last admission).
