In 2021 the new edition of Pitti Uomo, number 99, will have two versions. A digital version from 12 to 14 January, offered on Pitti Connect, the platform launched by Pitti Immagine in the summer of 2020 to support companies in the presentation of collections and business contacts with international buyers.
This will be followed by the physical opening of the spaces in the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from 21 to 23 February.
The digital inauguration will take place on 12 January 2021 at 10.30 a.m. in streaming from the village of Solomeo, Cucinelli's headquarters, with his eagerly awaited speech; this will be followed by a series of appointments with buyers, customers and the national and international press in order to illustrate the invero 2021/2022 men's collection.
The philosopher of cashmere will be the grand master of ceremonies, with the task of inaugurating the Florentine event in digital form via streaming from Solomeo.
The collection will be presented at "Casa Cucinelli", a space set up in the Solomeo factory, which aims to recreate a familiar environment, capable of combining culture, traditions, love for the territory and for hospitality.
This space is intended to be similar to the environments that the Cucinelli maison traditionally creates in the Fortezza da Basso in Florence and in the Cucinelli Houses in Milan, London, Paris and New York. We are delighted that Brunello Cucinelli will be participating in the January 2021 edition of Pitti Uomo," comments Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine. "This will be an extraordinary edition for many reasons: it will begin with a special event in digital format and will continue with the appointment at the Fortezza da Basso.
