Bolgheri DiVino opens to the public for the first time

Friday 2, Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 September 2022 sees the renewal of the event celebrating a unique territory and its great wines

On Friday 2, Saturday 3, and Sunday 4 September, one of the most important international wine territories will host the 2nd edition of Bolgheri DiVino, the event created by the producers of the Bolgheri Wine Consortium to celebrate the success of a unique territory - committed to the constant pursuit of Excellence - and to continue to increase the value of the denomination and its wines.

After last year's wonderful dinner, Bolgheri DiVino, the event that brings together the associated producers of DOC Bolgheri, this year will be developed - unlike the previous version - with a more inclusive formula centred on 2 separate moments of meeting and discussion. The first appointment will be dedicated solely to the Italian and international wine press invited for a preview of the new Bolgheri Superiore vintage, the 2020, which will debut on the market in 2023. The main event, on the other hand, will from this year be open to the public - for a fee - for all wine and non-wine enthusiasts who wish to discover the many oenological facets that this unique territory can boast.

Throughout the entire day of Saturday 3 September - from 11.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. - and Sunday 4 September from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., there will be a Diffuse Tasting open to the public at two historical settings of this wine region: the Castello della Gherardesca in Castagneto Carducci and the Frantoio di Casa Carducci. The event will be open to the public - with a single ticket - and will give the opportunity to taste the wines of 62 member wineries of the Consortium, with a special focus on the absolute preview release of the 2021 vintage of Bolgheri DOC Rosso. Also available on the same platform will be tickets for the Castagneto a Tavola dinner, the highlight event of the Municipality, to be held on Saturday 3 in the main square of the village.

Bolgheri DiVino will be an opportunity to celebrate this land and the incredible gifts it can produce. It will also be a special weekend for guests to explore and discover this corner of the Tuscan coastline in Wine, Territory and Nature, and its magnificent views, tree-lined avenues, vineyards, beaches and splendid estates.
