New this year is the reopening of the Granduchi Thermal Grotto, completely renovated to offer a regenerating and detoxifying experience much more complete than before. The Grotta is a small natural thermal cavity. In its suggestive pool, carved into the rock, water cascades down a small waterfall, creating a warm-humid environment, thanks also to the new thermal steam jets. It is a magical place of tranquillity that balances body and mind, regulates blood pressure, and helps eliminate toxins. The Grotta is perfect for two people and the experience lasts 20 minutes. It can be purchased as a gift voucher, either as a single service or as part of certain day packages, such as Thermae Romanae, Antico Mediterraneo and Romantic Route (for a couple).

In addition, to discover all the fascination of the Grotta in an original way, you can opt for the Night at the Spa Exclusive from 8 p.m. to midnight, an evening of relaxation and wellness, plus special exclusive experiences for couples, to enjoy moments in total privacy. The evening programme costs 120 euro per person with compulsory reservation and payment in advance and includes

• Entrance to the thermal pools of Ponente and Levante from 20:00 to midnight

• Apericena at the Ponente Spa with tasting of local products, finger-food of traditional Tuscan recipes, fresh fruit and small desserts (gluten-free dishes available)

• Access to the Grotta dei Granduchi thermal grotto for a regenerating and detoxifying thermal steam bath. In its suggestive pool, carved into the rock, the water cascades down a small waterfall, creating a warm-humid environment for a perfect sensory experience.
