From 16 to 19 September in the setting of Giardino Corsini appointment with the XXVII edition of the craft excellence

Everything is ready for Artigianato e Palazzo, the exhibition returning to the Giardino Corsini in Florence from 16 to 19 September. The XXVII edition of the exhibition offers a journey through traditional artistic crafts reinterpreted from a contemporary perspective with a new selection of about 80 excellent craftsmen.

THE ROUTE
This new edition invites the public to develop a relationship with the craftsmen at work in their workshops reconstructed in the new areas of the Palazzo - from the Monumental Rooms to the Stables, from the Garages to the Horseshoe Room, from the Carpentry Workshop to the Wood Shop, including the splendid Lemon House - involved in the real life of the Palazzo.

The Garden will appear as a "large open-air workshop" animated by gardeners, painters, restorers - who carry out their maintenance work under the eyes of the public.

The new exhibition will take place between the Palazzo and the lemon houses, and - as Sabina Corsini, president of the Associazione Giardino Corsini, told us in an exclusive interview - for the first time it will also include the private areas on the ground floor of the Palazzo, which have never been accessible to the public before.

EXHIBITIONS AND APPOINTMENTS
The main exhibition of this edition is dedicated to Enrico Magnani Pescia. The art of handmade paper since 1481 that, over time and still today, links his production to international artists, writers and names of excellence.

The BLOGS&CRAFTS competition is also repeated, which each year selects a minimum of 10 artisans under 35, inviting them to the Exhibition free of charge in an exhibition area entirely dedicated to them.
At the same time, a group of influencers working on the themes of craftsmanship, lifestyle, fashion and tourism is chosen to talk about the Exhibition, describing all its most salient features. This initiative is sponsored by World Crafts Council Europe, in collaboration with Fondazione Ferragamo, Starhotels and 25hours Hotels Florence. The rich programme of events also includes Ricette di Famiglia (Family Recipes), many daily afternoon appointments that combine contemporary gastronomic culture with the flavours and cuisine of the past, including book presentations, show cooking and tastings.
