Aperitif in Versilia

A timeless must

Aperitifs are a must in Versilia. Come along with us to discover the best cocktails and the most exclusive atmospheres!

First stop at the Twiga, with 'Unconventional Sunday': the most 'exclusive cocktail of Forte dei Marmi a new look for the 2016 summer to go with great music with national and international DJs (Via Lungomare Roma no. 2)

At La Capannina di Franceschi, one of the most historic bars of the whole coastline and a favorite of the international jet set, cocktails have the colors of the sunset and aperitifs are accompanied by music and fun (Viale Repubblica no. 16).

The Caffè Morin, where you can take in the dolce vita of Versilia, is just a few meters away (Via Caio Duilio no. 5).  

The elegant and fascinating 67 Sky Lounge Bar offers a breathtaking view of the whole coastline. It is the bar on the panoramic terrace of Hotel Principe Forte dei Marmi, the perfect location for a drink either before or after dinner (Viale Amm. Morin no. 67).

Almarosa Art Music & Bar is one of the most popular places for an aperitif. In the background, hits from the 50’s, 60’s and the latest too (Viale Amm. Morin no. 89/A).

Just steps away from the best boutiques in town, Caffè Sambo is perfect for a cocktail after a day of shopping (Via IV Novembre no. 16/A). Another place for an aperitif before diving into the nightlife of Versilia is Il Giardino, facing the famous little piazza at the center of town (Via Stagio Stagi no. 44).

Let’s leave the coast for a moment and head inland to the charm of Pietrasanta. One of the traditional bars, the Bar Pietrasantese, is right on the cathedral piazza and is a favorite meeting place for cocktail lovers.

Another tried and true address in Versilia for the cocktail hour or after dinner is the Ostras Beach. Aperitifs are unleashed right on the beach from 5 pm with music and bubblies (Viale Roma no. 123).

If you find yourself in Lido di Camaiore, don’t miss the attractive aperitif buffet of the Cosmopolitan, accompanied with a glass of fine wine or a great cocktail (Piazza Lemmetti no. 20).

Another place beloved to the young international crowd is Amadues. Near the beach, it’s the right place to end the day at the sea (Viale Colombo no. 35).

Closed only four hours a day (from 3 to 7 in the morning), Il Pinolo is another well-known hot spot of the movida in Versilia where aperitif is the word from 6 to 10.30 pm (Via del Fortino no. 42).

Finally, in Cinquale, there are two addresses you must not miss. The first is the Beach Club. Habitués of the Tuscan coast know that Sunday evenings, from eight till late, is the time for the Sunday Night set, with showmen and dj’s who alternate to create a unique rhythm of music under the stars (Viale IV Novembre no. 18).

And last but not least, don’t forget the A piedi nudi [Barefoot] evenings on Fridays at the Sunset. Candles and cushions right on the beach, romantic sunsets, cocktails and music to dance to on the sand (Viale IV Novembre no. 20).
