A crucial month for the promotion of Tuscan wines on international markets is starting to take place: from Friday 8 to Saturday 16 February, in several territories there will be previews of Tuscany 2019, the appointment with the presentation of the latest vintages. Saturday, February 9th
Fortezza da Basso - Cavaniglia Pavilion, Florence
It is the event that officially inaugurates the Week of Tuscany Previews 2019. From 9.30 to 17.00 the wines of the following conzorzi are tasted: Carmignano, Colline Lucchesi, Maremma Toscana, Montecarlo of Lucca, Montecucco, Orcia, Pitigliano and Sovana, Terre di Pisa , Val di Cornia and Valdarno di Sopra.

Chianti Lovers
Sunday, February 10th
Fortezza da Basso - Cavaniglia Pavilion, Florence
Gates open from 9.30 to 21, with tasting of the new DOCG Chianti 2018 and Riserva 2016 vintages released in 2019. From 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, the opening is open to press and professionals in the sector, while from 4 to 9 pm, open to the public. Present the companies of the Consortium, of the sub-areas Rufina, Colli Fiorentini, Colli Senesi, Colli Aretini, Montalbano, Colline Pisane and Montespertoli.

Chianti Classico Collection
Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 February
Leopolda Station - Florence
It is the waiting tasting, reserved only for the press, of the last grape harvests of Chianti Classico wines. Tasting the latest vintages in the types 2017, Riserva 2016 and Gran Selezione 2015 and 2014.

Vernaccia di San Gimignano
Sunday 10 February and Wednesday 13 February
De Grada Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art - San Gimignano, Siena
It is the great moment of the most famous white of Tuscany: the producers of San Gimignano present to the public Vernaccia di San Gimignano 2018 and the Riserva 2017. Sunday from 14 to 19 tasting at the tasting tables with producers. Open to the public and sector operators with free admission.
Wednesday, from 9 to 17, the tasting sessions are repeated at the tasting tables with the producers and in the press room with sommelier service. Admission is reserved to press and operators, but from 3 pm it is open to the public with free admission.

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano
Saturday 9th, Sunday 10th and Monday 11th February
Medici Fortress - Montepulciano, Siena
It is possible to taste the 2016 vintage, ready to be placed on the market after two years of evolution imposed by the production disciplinary, and the 2015 Riserva, a 5-star vintage, in addition to the other wines produced in the Montepulciano area.
The preview, which takes place inside the Fortress of Montepulciano, a few steps from Piazza Grande, is also open to the public: Saturday from 15 to 19.30, Sunday from 11 to 18.30 and Monday from 10.30 to 18.30 is also open to the public.

Brunello
Friday, 15th and Saturday, 16th February
Cloister and Complex of Sant'Agostino - Montalcino, Siena
Brunello 2014, Riserva 2013, Rosso di Montalcino 2017 and Moscadello give appointment to operators, press and winelovers with free tastings at the producers' counters.
