50 Top Italy 2022: here are the best restaurants in Tuscany

Author's cuisine, trattorias, great restaurants and not only: all the awards won by Tuscan excellences

The well known online guide available for free 50 Top Italy - The Best Italian Restaurants 2022, signed by LSDM, International Congress of Signature Cuisine, and by the magazine Luciano Pignataro Wine&Food Blog, has drawn up also this year the ranking of the best restaurants of the Bel Paese, dividing them according to type of restaurant and price range.

As always, the spotlight is on two big categories, Great Restaurants and Signature Cuisine, containing 50 names each.

As for the category of Great Restaurants, the first Tuscan restaurant we find in the ranking is at the seventh place Enoteca Pinchiorri of Florence.

36th place for Caino, inside the medieval village of Montemerano (Grosseto) where chef Valeria Piccini has always been leading a cuisine which looks at the territory but with ideas in movement. At 38th place we find instead the Romano Restaurant in Viareggio where to taste the dishes of Nicola Gronchi. 41st place for Poggio Rosso in Castelnuovo Berardenga (SI) where since two years we find the executive chef Juan Quintero, under the supervision of Enrico Bartolini. Finally, 42nd place for Virtuoso Gourmet - Tenuta Le Tre Virtù in Scarperia e San Piero (FI).

Among the awarded restaurants in the ranking of Author's Cuisine we find in 18th place L'asinello in Castelnuovo Berardenga (SI), in 32nd place Ristorante Giglio in Lucca and in 37th place Gabbiano 3.0 in Marina di Grosseto.

The top trattorias in Tuscany are, instead, Trattoria Da Burde in Florence, which is in seventh place, I' Ciocio in Suvereto (Livorno) in 26th place and Futura Osteria in Monteriggioni (Siena) in 37th place. (Don't miss our list with the best trattorias in Florence).

Special mention also for All'antico Vinaio of Florence which conquers the 39th place among the best Italian low cost restaurants, and Il Lampredotto of Florence at the 48th place.
