Estate Fiorentina and concerts unmissable

This year in Florence will be summer until October. The Estate fiorentina 2015 (Florentine summer 2015) is going to be an exceptional summer, providing over 700 events with great personalities in 10 locations around the Tuscan capital. Cinema, music, theater and dance, literature and finally design; gathered in the main theme of contemporary. Also very important are the big concerts at the Artemio Franchi stadium.

To make your life easier, here is a series of not to be missed events.

Music at the Cascine Park:
Limp Bizkit, the American musical band arrives in Florence on June13.
The awaited MTV Awards with Emis Killa as presenter and a lot of great guests, on June 14.
Patti Smith, the rock icon on stage on June 16
Litfiba, in their Florence July 23
David Gilmour, historical guitarist and singer of Pink Floyd, in one of the two Italian dates, will play in Florence September 15

Cinema in SS. Annunziata, from June 26 to July 26, with the Festival dei popoli (Festival of Peoples), among the guests Valeria Golino. In the same location the open-air cinema Apriti cinema!, starting from July 7 to 31.

Cannes a Firenze, at the Spazio Alfieri, June 20 to 26, projections of the latest films in competition at Cannes.

Campus della musica (Music Campus) at the Opera di Firenze, June 20 to 26 and 4 to 7 September. This year, names like Caparezza, Elio e le Storie Tese, De Gregori, Fabri Silvestri Gazzè and Subsonica.

Cinema Reale (Real Cinema) at the Museum 900 from June to September, with movies of the archives of Istituto Luce.

Festival au Desert at Le Murate, from 30 June to 3 July. With the participation of the great diva OUM, also known as "Soul of Morocco", which, for the first time in Italy, duet with one of the most beautiful voices of Tuscany, Ginevra Di Marco, accompanied by Francesco Magnelli. And again, the singer and guitarist of the Tuareg AMANAR, Ahmed Ag Kaedi, the musician Sandro Joyeux, the Afrobeat of Voodoo Sound Club and many others.

Next Tech Festival in various places from 10 to 12 September, the festival of electronic music with guests like Len Faki.

Italian Brass Week, in various places 19 to 26 July, trumpet, trombone, tuba and horn courses with great masters.

Remember also the date of the World Refugee Day Live: on June 20 at the Ippodromo del Visarno, Cascine Park, a big concert for the World Refugee Day. On stage artists like Elisa, Pelù, Bandabardò, Dario Brunori, Virginiana Miller and many others. Present the evening Valentina Petrini e Francesco Pannofino. Each ticket, which costs € 10, ensure a month of drinking water to a refugee who lives in humanitarian emergency.
