From 16 to 18 September 2022 in the setting of Giardino Corsini appointment with the exhibition promoted by the Associazione Giardino Corsini, of which Sabina Corsini is president, together with Neri Torrigiani, creator and organiser of the exhibition, which every year brings to attention an original new selection of more than 90 witnesses of the highest handicraft tradition, with a special focus on emerging generations, selected from Italy and Europe.
The exhibition Henry Moore in Florence opens on 16 September 2022, a tribute 50 years after the memorable exhibition at Forte di Belvedere in 1972. Until 31 March 2023, two works, Family Group and Large Interior Form, will be exhibited respectively in two symbolic places of the city: Piazza della Signoria and exceptionally on the churchyard of the Abbey of San Miniato al Monte, in dialogue with the historical and artistic heritage of Florence. In conjunction with the exhibition of these two sculptures, the exhibition Back to Moore. Forte Belvedere 1972, from 22 September to 3 October 2022 an exhibition of historical images collected from the personal archives of all those who, from all over Italy, visited the exhibition.e.
The Pitti Immagine exhibition dedicated to the world of international artistic perfumery will be staged from 16 to 18 September at the Stazione Leopolda. FABBRICA EUROPA
Until 25 September the Fabbrica Europa festival returns to the theatres, parks and gardens of Florence: 22 days of performances, 12 spaces, 27 events, 8 productions, 11 international proposals, 120 artists, 24 countries, 3 international cooperation and co-creation projects. Projects, shows, concerts, performances, meetings and workshops to investigate the creative processes that, in dance, music, performing arts and in their intersection, create a dynamic community of artists from Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia. The spaces chosen to host the festival are: Parco delle Cascine and PARC Performing Arts Research Centre, Giardino dell'Istituto Agrario, Teatro Studio di Scandicci, Teatro Cantiere Florida, La Compagnia, Teatro Puccini, Lumen, Murate Art District, Chiostro Accademia Belle Arti, Parco Villa Demidoff, Giardino delle Rose. WONDERFUL MARKET AT THE STUDENT HOTEL
Everything is ready on 17 and 18 September for a new edition of Wonderful Market, which will fill the Student Hotel in Florence with a thousand colours, special objects, activities and rare clothes. A journey to discover unique garments and objects with the Wonderful Market Vintage & Handmade Market, which will include a selection of vintage and handicraft stands, but also new brands, vinyls and works by young creative artists. A great novelty of this afternoon and evening edition will be a series of workshops, children's activities, live music, talks and literary presentations, which will be spread over the two days, offering a varied calendar suitable for all ages.
SHAKESPEARE AT BREAKFAST, THEATRE WALKS AT THE IRIS GARDEN
Take a breakfast stroll listening to the dark plots of Lady Macbeth? Eating a cream croissant with Hamlet, or having coffee with the Merry Wives of Windsor? All this becomes possible with Shakespeare at Breakfast, an irreverent comedy by Perelandra Teatro in which Shakespearian characters take turns in the Iris Garden for a very special theatrical matinee. The actors bring to the stage dialogues and monologues from the great classics: the setting is provided by a company of wanderers who entertain the audience with the Bard's Sonnets and a real breakfast, complete with coffee and croissants: love, theatre, poetry and... a croissant, please! DISCOVERING MORRICONE AT THE ROMAN THEATRE IN FIESOLE
A concert, but above all a journey of words, suggestions and solo performances to relive the magic of cinema and the soundtracks composed by Ennio Morricone.
Alla scoperta di Morricone (Discovering Morricone) is the new show that the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Giacomo Loprieno presents on Tuesday 13 September at the Roman Theatre of Fiesole (9.15 pm), as part of the Estate Fiesolana 2022.
GIARDINO DELL’ASCOLTO - CANTIERI CULTURALI ISOLOTTO
From 13 to 17 September the VI edition of CANTIERI CULTURALI ISOLOTTO, a project by Virgilio Sieni curated by the Centro Nazionale di Produzione della Danza, with the support of Estate Fiorentina 2022, will take place. For five days the Quartiere 4/Isolotto will be animated by performances, site-specific actions, practices, workshops, exhibitions, music, cinema and opportunities to stop. The subtitle of the 2022 edition is Giardino dell'ascolto: an invitation to reconsider attention and care as a necessary path to look and find one's own inner garden in the city.

GENIUS LOCI: BRANDUARDI, STOCKHAUSEN, MAGONI AND MERTENS IN SANTA CROCE
The hypnotic notes of Wim Mertens at dawn in the cloister; Angelo Branduardi's concert dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi; the dialogue between religious communities moderated by Franco Cardini; Linda Messerklinger's artistic project with Luca "Vicio" Vicini of Subsonica. And then: Markus Stockhausen live in the shadow of Taddeo Gaddi's fresco; Alessandro Vanoli's reading on the passing of the seasons in literature and art; Petra Magoni's musical recital to the sound of the archlute; a concert dedicated to Billie Holiday and Nina Simone; and a tribute to Lucio Dalla in his early days. These are just some of the events of the 5th edition of Genius Loci: discovering Santa Croce, the festival that, from 20 to 24 September 2022, will unveil to the public the monumental complex of Santa Croce, a symbolic place of national memory open to the world (free admission with compulsory booking at www.santacroceopera.it). The initiative is organised by Controradio Club, Opera di Santa Croce and Controradio in collaboration with the cultural association La Nottola Di Minerva.
ARS BELLICA CON ALESSANDRO RICCIO, JOE MANGANAS E GIORGIA TOMASI AT CIRK FANTASTIK
On Tuesday 13 September 2022, at 8.30 p.m., Alessandro Riccio, Joe Manganas and Giorgia Tomasi will be the protagonists of the show Ars bellica at the international contemporary circus festival Cirk Fantastik! in the Parco delle Cascine in Florence. A pantomimed show, without a single word, comic, enthralling, full of hilarious situations and unexpected gimmicks. Tickets: from 6 to 15 euros (various types of tickets and discounts).
FRANCO ZEFFIRELLI, CONFORMISTA RIBELLE
On Friday 16 September at 8.30 p.m. in Piazza Santo Spirito, a preview screening of the documentary written and directed by Anselma Dell'Olio. The documentary recounts the decisive moments, turning points and rollercoasters of a brilliant, eventful international career and the rocambolic existence of a great Italian artist. From his origins as a son of N.N. to the conquest of great international fame as a director, art director, painter, creator of cinema, theatre and opera.
FIRENZE JAZZ FESTIVAL
Until 18 September 2022, the Firenze Jazz Festival events continue. A great musical festival involving the entire city, bringing jazz to the streets, squares and some of the most beautiful locations in the Oltrarno and beyond. On 14 September in Sala Vanni with F2, the duet born from the encounter between drummer Francesca Remigi and clarinettist Federico Calcagno. The evening of Wednesday 14 continues at the Amphitheatre of Villa Strozzi with Rosa Brunello presenting Sounds Like Freedom. On Thursday 15 September, musicteller Federico Sacchi pays homage to the artist Judy Garland with one of his listening experiences, a real live documentary that blends music, theatre, storytelling and video. On Friday 16 September at 7 p.m., the Firenze Jazz Festival presents one of the best line-ups of new Italian jazz, Lilac for People, in the Sala Vanni. On Saturday 17 September the Festival starts again at 10.30 a.m. from the Sala Vanni with a musical encounter characterised by an expressive charge of the highest level, alternating with moments of profound lyrical intensity, in a repertoire that moves between original compositions and jazz standards. Flavio Boltro, the trumpet of reference in Italian and European jazz, paired with Fabio Giachino, one of the most virtuosic young Italian pianists, will perform Things to say.
IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA AT MAGGIO MUSICALE FIORENTINO
On 12, 14, and 15 September in the Zubin Mehta Hall the performances of Gioachino Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia, in the highly acclaimed production directed by Damiano Michieletto, revived by Andrea Bernard, with principal conductor Daniele Gatti on the podium. The cast includes Vasilisa Berzhanskaya as Rosina, Nicola Alaimo as Figaro, Fabio Capitanucci as Don Bartolo, Berta is Carmen Buendia, Lindoro/Conte is Ruzil Gatin and Don Basilio is played by Evgeny Stavinskiy. L'ALTRO GIACOMO WITH CON RENATO RAIMO AT FORTE BELVEDERE
Immersive, with no barriers between audience and actors, capable of stimulating all the senses in a journey that starts with a visit to the residence and ends with dinner with the artists. This is Renato Raimo's Green Theatre, which on 18 September at Forte Belvedere offers a special evening. starring Giacomo Puccini, man and undisputed genius. On stage L'altro Giacomo, a show that comes directly from the 67th Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago.
The reservation, worth 65 euros, includes a multi-sensory evening in the Green_Theatre style conceived by Raimo. Starting at 6.30 pm: GUIDED TOUR of the DIMORA, WELCOME APERITIF, SHOW "L'Altro Giacomo", and DINNER with the ARTISTS.
TRUFFLE FESTIVAL AT GIRONE
Until 25 September, the customary appointment with the truffle festival returns to Girone, the star of the event, which can be tasted in various preparations (flan, eggs, white lasagne, taglierini, arista, etc.).
